Welcome to Swapnice!

In this demo, we’ll show you how the Swapnice Swap Badge works. Let’s say you’re a manufacturer and you’ve just produced a product. For this example, we’re using a Funko Pop (not the plushie in front of us). We’ve already attached an NFC tag under the chin—hidden from view. You can use any shape of NFC tag: circle, rectangle, etc. Now, we’ll pretend this Funko Pop has just been manufactured with the NFC tag embedded. Using the Swapnice app, we’ll program the tag to serialize the item in our database—making it uniquely identifiable. Open the Swapnice app, go to the hamburger menu, then tap Inventory. Under the Switems tab, create a new Switem and fill in the product details. Once submitted, it’s time to activate the Swap Badge by following the on-screen steps. With the badge already attached, we’ll now link it. Hold your phone to the item for at least two seconds to complete the scan. The item is now registered as a Switem. To interact with it, tap the heart tab at the bottom of the app, then the heart icon inside the box. Scan your Switem to view its details—such as creation date, serialization number, and owner. A real-world example is the brand Fearzu. When you tap a Fearzu card, character info appears, including creation date, ownership, and even a chat with an animated character. This is just a glimpse of what’s possible with Swap Badges and Swapnice technology.

Thanks for watching!
